Darrell Arthur, the oft-injured player from Kansas, is rumored to have accepted an offer from the Memphis Grizzlies to remain with the team.

Arthur has played his entire career with the Grizzlies who acquired him in a draft night trade with the Portland Trailblazers and Houston Rockets involving Nicholas Batum (from Houston to Portland) and Donte Green (from Memphis to Houston). A rumor on Twitter is that Mo Speights has resigned with the Memphis Grizzlies.

And Mo Speights has started the rumor himself. Tweeting with Tony Allen Speights apparently said that he is “I am going back to #GrizzNation. This year. Yessir!” Speights went on to tweet that “I had many places to go!!! But why would I want to leave?”

Now Twitter is notorious for misinformed stories and it needs to be pointed out that the Grizzlies have not confirmed [...]

According to multiple sources, the Grizzlies have been in talks with Ray Allen about bringing the free agent sharpshooter to Beale Street. The Grizzlies signed center Hamed Haddadi, Grizzlies General Manager and Vice President of Basketball Operations Chris Wallace announced.

Huzzah! The season is saved!

Ok, so maybe that was hyperbolic, but it’s definitely good to have another 7-footer with skills back on the roster.

Haddadi made an appearance at the game last night, sitting with Chris Wallace after receiving an ovation upon his appearance inside the friendly confines of the Grindhouse once again.
