Orlando, Miami, Atlanta,Chalrotte and evenWashington are teams capable of making the playoffs in the East. Has this one time down on their luck division become the most competitive in the league?

It may be too early to tell but this is definitely a dvision that people will be talking about this season. With the addition of the top pick in this year’sdraft (John Wall) and surprise national team invite JaValle McGee in Washington, Orlando having former top pick Dwight Howard, Miami adding former top pick LeBron James along with ChrisBosh and re-signing Dwayne Wade, Charlottekeeping the team together after last season’s playoff run and Atlanta doing the same re-signing Joe Johnson there isn’t atruly weakteam in the group.

3 Shades of Blue, thanks to the co-ordinating efforts of Jeff Clark at Celtics Blog, presents the bloggers pre-season view of the Southeast Division.
