Q: Congratulations on the new baby boy Zach Jr., are you getting any sleep lately?
Randolph: A little bit, he’s a good kid he’s a good baby. My better half she’s taking care of him getting up so she’s letting me get my rest.
Q: What has the team been working on since the Indiana game and what has Coach Joerger been preaching to you guys since?
Randolph: We got to get back to what we are gonna get. We gotta get back there by working hard and keep pushing. We’re not there yet.
Q: Is it more of the offense efficiency or the defense that’s been the most problem right now?
Randolph: Our defense and our offense too so it’s a combination of things. We just got to keep on working because we’re not the same team as last year but we’re trying to get there. We got the same personnel so we just got to get there and stay positive and keep pushing and pushing.
Q: Is it a chemistry problem?
Randolph: I wouldn’t say that. It’s a number of things. We got to keep on playing. I don’t want to say it’s one specific thing it’s a combination of things.
Q: How was it yesterday at Booker T. Washington handing out food baskets for everyone?
Randolph: That’s giving back. My annual thing I do I give back. I make people’s day. Give them a good meal for Thanksgiving give them a real dinner. And I can relate to them cause my mother use to send me around the corner to the mission and Salvation Army to get food baskets when I was young so I can relate to that. You know making one family or 500 families Thanksgiving and that’s a blessing for me.
Zach Randolph and the Memphis Grizzlies will face the Toronto Raptors tonight at FedEx Forum at 7 PM tonight.
