Peter Vescey has tweeted that the Grizzlies have signed PG Keyon Dooling for the remained of the season.

The team has not made a statement yet.

The 6’3″ PG has played for a number of NBA teams including the Clippers, Heat, Magic and most recently the Boston Celtics. Dooling retired at the start of the season and has been serving as a player development coordinator for the Celtics.

Dooling has played 12 seasons in the NBA. His best scoring season was 2008-09 when he averaged 9.7 PPG and 3.5 APG for the Nets in 26.9 MPG. A career 34.9% 3 point shooter, Dooling is expected to take over the backup PG role while Bayless moves to backup SG.
