Power Rankings – week of March 5

Hovering around the 8th and 9th spot in the rankings, some are saying the Grizzlies will have a tough time maintaining that through the end of the month.  DOUBTERS!

A reference to the Grizzlies and the NBA finals from Tom Ziller @SBNation.  Stein says there is a twitter campaign for Hollins as coach-of-the-year. Robson @SI writes, “Credit Hollins for the fundamentally sound yet aggressively predatory defense that has enabled Memphis to thrive two straight seasons despite the extended loss of a top-two scorer. . . they lead the NBA in opponents’ assist-to-turnover ratio.”

Average ranking for the week is 8.7 a +2.7 jump (not including actual standings). Covers Rankings updated later in week.
