From Benjamin Hochman of the Denver Post,

Kosta Koufos has been traded to the Memphis Grizzlies, two NBA sources confirmed Thursday, in exchange for Darrell Arthur and the 55th pick in Thursday’s draft.

Koufos, 24, averaged 8.0 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game in 81 games for the Denver Nuggets in the 2012-13 season. He started in all of the regular season games in which he appeared. Koufos’s presence will be a welcome addition to the Grizzlies as a capable backup center to Marc Gasol, who was sixth among all centers in minutes per game last season at 35.0. Koufos attended Mike Conley’s alma mater, Ohio State.

I’ve been quite vocal in my criticism of The Brilliant Jason Levien — and will continue to be when he fails to match TA’s offer in about 3 weeks — but this was a very good trade.

I really like Darrell Arthur and feel for him with all the injuries he’s had. But at some point “unlucky” turns into “injury prone” and the Grizz got an very good player, on a modest contract, at a position of need for him. Kudos to Team Levien while wishing DA many happy, healthy years in Denver!

If it is true, then it is a good move. We need a true back-up center who can play well on offense and defense.
