Power Rankings – week of Jan 23

Schuhmann @ NBA.com says that the Grizzlies are the Hero Team of the Week, but with a disclaimer.  Marc Gasol received several accolades for his outstanding by several of these writers including player of the week.  Lets just hope it results in being selected as an All-Star.  Have you voted?  Do it now!  The biggest jump comes from Matt Moore @ CBSSports.COM.  I saw this last week but avoided commenting, but those rival Rockets are hanging right around us in rankings and wins.

I added two power rankings from HoopsWorld and SBNation.  Enjoy!  Oh, and Covers is slow to post this weeks rankings.  I’ll update when they are posted.

Average ranking for the week is 9.8  +6 jump from last week.
