i think the should just lose the rest of our games to get a better draft pick so next year we will have a built bench and so we wont start 1-8 like we did

Nah. Ending the season on some momentum and building some chemistry with what we have is more important than 1 or 2 more ping pong balls in the mixer, or moving up 1 or 2 more slots, from like 14 to 12. We have three first round picks - trading a combination of those picks to move up would be a more effective way to get a higher pick.

I am not as confident after summer league as I was before it which is silly because there is no direct correlation between summer league success and NBA success for teams or players.

Still I feel the Grizzlies are grossly understaffed at backup PG and PF right now and Thabeet has a long way to go to get into NBA shape in the paint.
