New Orleans comes to town again after losing a heart-breaker to the LA Lakers where the Hornets blew a 25 point second half lead. New Orleans is finally playing the lineup they envisioned at the start of the season with Greivis Vasquez, Eric Gordon, Al-Farouq Aminu, Anthony Davis and Robin Lopez. Ryan Anderson has moved to the bench to provide offense.

Memphis has been surging since the Rudy Gay trade going 12-4 and are 11-1 in the last 12 games. Led By Marc Gasol and Mike Conley, the Grizzlies have handled the roster moves to become a much improved passing team. Since the trade the Grizzlies are 5th in the league in assists after spending most of the year in the bottom third of the league.

This is the last home game before a difficult 4 game road trip and the 2nd game of a back to back series which saw the Grizzlies coast to their first victory in Cleveland since LeBron James' rookie season. Memphis will need to protect against a let down/look ahead situation and take care of business against the worst team in the Southwest division.

Here we go again! Tonight the Hornets look to split the season set, while the Grizzlies set out to gain some momentum to put towards another winning streak. One thing's for sure, Lionel Hollins and Monty Williams will have their teams ready to grind and claw in this one.

And for those keeping score, this will be the last look the Grizzlies get at the Hornets incarnation of the New Orleans franchise before they re-brand to the Pelicans next season.
