First up will be the Chicago Bulls in St. Louis on 10/7.

How will the players adapt to Joerger's new-look offense? Will Calathes be the true answer at the backup point guard position? Which if any of the non-guaranteed guys should make the roster?

Will the answer to any of these questions become a bit clearer after Monday's Game?

Tonight's Mavs game should be interesting. Will Gasol, Allen and Prince play? Will the team be more uptempo? Can the defense play tough without fouling?

So many questions.

So, halfway through the preseason and we're split at .500. Thoughts thus far? Here are a few of my observations:

- Quincy didn't play in games 1 and 2, but looks far less rigid offensively, which is a very good thing. It's clear he's been working on his game.

- Leuer has been great. Like a baby David Lee on offense. Defensively he's been passable, but may have some issues rotating.

- Davis has been hot and cold. At times his positioning has been fantastic, and others he just tries to rebound with his arms.

- Calathes may be an answer at the backup point. Can make plays, but can't shoot a lick. Sounds like Wroten, when I think about it, but he's got a much better head on his shoulders when it comes to running an offense.

- Franklin is not just the "Grindson." He can play offense too.
