Post Heat is On!

The Harlem Shake has moved south as LeBron and his teammates hammed it up in a video released yesterday. Are the Heat thinking they are the Chicago Bears now?

This could be an interesting game as two teams on winning streaks (Miami at 12 straight and Memphis on an eight game streak) hit the court Friday night. The game is being broadcast on ESPN nationally. It is a contrast of styles between these two teams. Memphis is old-fashioned playing the inside out game with their big men Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph. Miami is new school with flashy perimeter play and a trapping defense that hides their lack of height well.

Miami has been dominant but not so much against interior based teams. Indiana has two wins against the Heat and Memphis beat them by 18 earlier in the season. Have the figured out how to handle powerful interior teams yet?

Gonna have to get a lot outta the bigs to win this one. Cant have another pisspoor effort from Conley either. They oughta put Darrell on The King. Hes a better defender and matches up with Lebron physically.

Can't argue with that unless Daye goes off for 7 three point shots or something.

That Harlem Shake video is hilarious.

Tonight, they're going to be doing all that they can to keep the ball out of the paint. We're going to have to run some nice sets to work the ball in. Lazy "dump it down" sets will not cut it, because they put too much pressure on the ball and in the passing lanes. If we succeed in getting the ball into the bigs, I think we win.

Additionally, We cannot fall prey to taking jump shots against a team like this, because they'll kill us in transition off of rebounds.
