Power Rankings – week of Feb 6

Would you believe that the Grizzlies actually went up in the two rankings?  Matt Moore @CBS starts his comment with something every Grizzlies’ fan understands, “The Grizzlies are infuriating to watch on a consistent basis…”

These guys don’t know where to rank the Orlando Magic.  They are ranked as high as 7th (Hoopsworld) and as low as 19th (Hollinger). Britt Robson @SI observes that the old-age teams of Boston and San Antonio were thought to suffer under the grueling short-season, but not so.  The Grizzlies have learned this well from both these teams.

Average ranking for the week is 15.72 a -1.38 fall from last week (not including Covers and actual standings).  After 3 straight loses, the Grizzlies did not suffer much in the rankings.
