Chris Wallace is one of the nicest GM’s, if that is the proper title for him, in the league. He is open to anyone and everyone and loves nothing more than to share his basketball knowledge and love of the Grizzlies with other fans of the team.

To prove this he has told 3 Shades of Blue that he is going to be in New York City Saturday night and wants to watch the game against the Spurs with fans of the team but doesn’t know where to go. So he’s asked 3 Shades of Blue to find out where Grizzlies fans will be watching the game so he can join them.

Leave your suggestions of the best bar in NYC for Wallace to watch the game and don’t be surprised if he shows up to watch and cheer the team with you. He’s going to be checking out the site to see what bar will be the best place to be with Grizzlies fans.

Oh man! I wish I could hit the city tomorrow night! Unfortunately I’d have to say good luck even finding a bar in NY that will have coverage of the game… Especially given the fact that the Nets are playing Miami.tomorrow night.

Hey CW, I just moved to NYC from Memphis about a month ago! I’m a die-hard Grizz fan! There’s a great bar in Harlem called Bier International (Frederick Douglass and 113th). I just started working there yesterday. They have some great beers, and a big screen TV. Tell them Sam sent you! Great work on putting the team together. It’s so positive for the city of Memphis and all of the Grizzlies fans, wherever we may be!

First the Gilbert pickup, and now this? Chris Wallace is a boss. He’s so in touch with the fan base.

Trionas (Sullivan and West 4th). Amity Hall was already full tonight so the NYC fans are temporarily moving to Trionas.

Amity Hall usually would be the spot up here for us NYC Grizzdenners, but tonight we’ve secured some space at Trionas just around the corner (Sullivan and West 3rd, http://www.trionasnyc.com/home/). Just like the Grizz did in the 4th the other night against the Cavs, the NYC Grizzden was able to grind together and find some alternate space. Mr. Wallace, we’d love to welcome you to the Den!

Any word on this? I’m a good hour away from Manhattan by train, but if there’s any degree of confirmation, I’m in!

PS: NYC fans, do you guys get together often to watch the games?

Trionas is the place it seems. I will confirm this with Chris Wallace.

Did this end up happening? Also, are there usually Grizz fans at Amity Hall? I generally end up watching the games at Machavelle in Park Slope right next to the Barclays Center, but the staff there still think I’m messing with them when I request something like “could you put on the Memphis/Utah game?” Which, to their credit, they always do.
