Literally moments after Nick Calathes states on the Chris Vernon Show that he’s going to have to compete for his minutes, the seemingly omniscient Woj Tweets:
Memphis has traded guard Tony Wroten to the 76ers for a future second round pick, league source tells Y! Sports.

Wroten provided Grizzlies fans some exciting moments last season, wowing with his elite athleticism and the sexiest highlight passes Grizzlies’ fans have seen since Jason Williams, but lacked the seasoning to hold consistent minutes on a contending team. The move comes on the heels of what was a rough Summer League performance for Wroten, who averaged 12.2 points, 3.3 assists, and 1.5 steals per contest, while shooting 25.3% from the field, and 62.2% from the line.
Keep on flyin’ with the fishes, Tone.
