The final push and grind begins. The Grizzlies have the most games left of the 8 teams in this composite with 10. The Grizzlies have the easiest SOS of these teams and play only 3 teams with at least a 500 record and two of those are the next two: Phoenix and San Antonio. After that the only team with the winning record is the last game against Orlando.
I think that we can overtake the Clippers, but remember that the Grizzlies have to have a better record than them because they won the series winning 2 or the 3 games. Overtaking the Lakers may be possible since they have the hardest remaining schedule other than Phoenix. Again because they won the series against the Griz, Memphis has to have a better record than them.
Go Grizzlies! Playoffs here we come for a second year in a row. (I know that it isn’t over until its over, but it seems it would be hard to fall out of the playoffs at this point unless half the team goes down with injuries.)

Carl – Don’t the Lakers have 4 remaining games on the road? Their record is identical to Memphis’ at 13-16 in road games so don’t they have to have 4 more road games?
Corrected this error! Thanks Chip.
I think passing the Lakers will be very difficult with so few games left. 4th is likely the best we can hope for, and realistic with the Clippers having a tough road to finish the season (6 road games, SOS = 53%). A home series would be very nice against the inexperienced Clippers.
Agree home series against the Clips would be great!
Great rundown of the remaining games too.. (nicely layed out etc) and great for the Grizz to be in contention and getting hot at the right time of the season, for the second year in a row!
