It is very doubtful that the Grizzlies can capture the 4th spot. The Clippers are playing very good ball, beating the Thunder last night by 15. The Clippers would have to lose 3 of their last 5 games and the Grizzlies would have to win out for this to happen, because the Clippers won the season series.
The Grizzlies should hold on to 5th with the relative easy remaining schedule, but who knows after the loss to the Hornets. However Denver it seems would have to win out to catch the Grizzlies and they won the season series against the Grizz.
The most interesting part of the final 10 days of the season is who will get the bottom spots in the west and east and how will they finish.

You are correct. I miss read the results for the series. The Grizzlies won all three games. So, it is even more doubtful that the Grizzlies will drop from the 5th spot.
Most interesting to me is who becomes number 4, Clips (yes please) or Lakers (no thanks).

clippers scare me with griffin and cp3 and their ability to beat you inside and out….

Bynum and Gasol are one of the very few front-courts which are superior to ours, our major strength. The Clips, Alex said it, Griffin is fairly one-dimensional, and light on skill compared to his hype.

Memphis swept the season series against Denver this season, not the other way around.

Griffin shouldn’t scare anyone. Keep him out of the paint and he doesn’t even resemble an NBA player. CP3 on the other hand … He’s a little scary in a seven game series.
I see the clips possibly losing 4 of their last 5 being against people trying to scrape their way into playoffs. No way I see our grizz losing again until possibly the magic, but i can still see a home win there. We will see, but I dont think it is crazy to say that we could lock up home court.
I hope that you are right, but I think the Clippers are playing for #3 with great zeal. If they lose tonight against the Nuggets, then you could be right.
