Can you believe it, two guys actually dropped the Grizzlies in spite of their impressive wins over the last week.
Are the Grizzlies the 5th or 6th best team in the league as many have ranked them? I don’t understand how Hollinger could drop them after the Grizzlies big wins or why SBNation has them ranked so low!

The Hollinger Rankings are purely statistically based — he runs different algorithms and such and it spits out his rankings, so it’s not like he’s dissing the Griz.
As for SB nation . . . Just another pundit who doesn’t recognize the level these guys are playing at. The Hawks and Rockets ahead of the Griz? Seriously?
Yea, Lee, I understand that Hollinger has his algorithms to get his rankings. What I don’t understand is how the Grizzlies’ recent wins raised their number by such a small amount.
I’ll give them Houston over us. They did best us in the series. And they knocked off OKC and the Bulls in a short span as well. My opinion is they are not getting enough love like we are. They have always proven to be our kryptonite! The Hawks………..? I’ll have to get back to you on that one.
Best us in the series? Maybe I don’t understand…we went 2 and 2 against Houston this year.
