Power Rankings – week of April 16

Britt Robson @SI puts the Grizzlies in the group of 9 that he thinks have a chance to win the NBA.  As he wrote, “upstarts such as the Clippers, Pacers and Grizzlies face no longer odds than the Mavericks encountered at this time last season en route to their first title.”  Matt Moore @CBSSports adds, “The Clippers, Celtics, Grizzlies, Pacers, Suns and Jazz are all in a position to do some damage when the playoffs start (should the Suns and Jazz make it).”

I don’t agree with Tom Ziller @SBNation that the Grizzlies don’t care about home court advantage.

One ranker actually raised the Grizzlies this week.
