GREAT UPGRADES! The site is much quicker, easier to read as far as layout is a much nicer experience overall in the first few minutes on. Traffic should pick up considerably!

With Marc Gasol in the fold with Z-Bo, Rudy, Tony and Mike do the Grizzlies have the best starting five in the league?

What do people think the Grizzlies will accomplish without Darrell Arthur and with Marc Gasol injured already?

If we can weather the storm, I still think we can make some noise late.

Are the Grizz shopping OJ at all? There’s no way we can resign him at the end of the season, and if we can get something for him before he heads out and gets himself a fat contract elsewhere, it’d be worth the move.

    February 9th.
Looking back at this Grizzly season so far here’s what we saw from Hollins’ crew: 1st 9 games they went 3-6; 7 game win streak; 4 losses (long west coast visit); 2 wins in the southeast; back on the road & 3 more losses.

OK, now we’re back at home where we clearly play better (8-4 @ home vs 5-9 on the road). There are 9 games remaining in February & if the Grizz want to build some momentum, now is the time. How do you do it? Get to 20 wins by March.

Possible? Absolutely, we get 7 of our next 9 games at home. It won’t be easy; we’ve got 4 teams ahead that we are currently looking up to in the standings (Jazz, Rockets, Nuggets & Mavs) as well as 2 good teams from the other conference (Pacers & 76ers). With the exclusion of the Rockets (b/c that game is in Houston) all of those teams have to play us in Memphis & (right now) the best road record of the bunch belongs to Indiana @ 10-6.

Maybe I’m just looking at this from the 100ft level, but I’m optimistic about getting some relevancy back into the season.

Sorry, we play the Rockets twice in the remaining February stretch. We split home court between those 2 games.
