Finally, the Grizzlies are on the inside of the playoff chase, hanging on at 8th. They are going to have to keep winning to stay there. A win tonight against the 5th-place Blazers would put them a full game up on the Suns. If the Grizzlies can muster a big-time defensive night – especially guarding the 3 point line – it should help the Grizzlies pick up this much-needed win.
Houston and the Clippers both passing up the Blazers should make Portland really ready to win tonight’s game. It will be a tough game for the home team. They have lost home court advantage for the 1st round of the playoffs.
Dallas is showing their inconsistency, beating Indiana and Portland the last two games, but then losing to Denver the game before that. Meanwhile, the Warriors are playing well, having won four in a row beating Phoenix and Indiana.
A look at the remaining schedule shows the Grizzlies have a little easier remaining schedule than Phoenix, but harder than Dallas or Golden State.
Below is a table that shows the remaining schedule for 4rd to 9th position. Enjoy. Let me know if you see errors in this.
