dragicThe Memphis Grizzlies are fighting for the last ticket to the playoffs in the Western Conference and it seems that everything would be defined in the penultimate game of the season.

Although they could be out of the playoffs, the Grizzlies are located in the twelfth place of the odds to win the NBA championship this season with 101/1. The Heat tops the list that you can see complete at

Memphis is fighting with the Phoenix Suns for the eighth spot in the conference and both teams will meet on Monday, April 14th at the U.S. Airways Center. The good news for David Joerger’s team is that in the previous three games this season they have come out with the victory.

The first meeting was on December 3rd at the FedEx Forum and the Grizzlies took the win by 110-91 thanks to 23 points from Jon Leuer. At that game, they didn´t have Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol.

The second game was held a month later in Phoenix, but the team of the desert lost again, this time 99-91, although the Slovenian guard Goran Dragic finished with 33 points, three rebounds and seven assists.

Eight days later, Jeff Hornacek’s team visited Memphis to see how Mike Conley scored 31 points to give the Grizzlies the win by 104-99.

Phoenix has won four of their last five home games, including a 122-115 triumph against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Suns come as the sixth best offense, with 105 points per game, but against the Grizzlies have suffered to score points.

Memphis ranks as the third best defense in the league, allowing 94.5 points per game. In the three games against the Suns, they didn´t allow more than 100 points.

The Suns are looking to end a three-year drought without Playoffs, while the Grizzlies are trying to reach it for fourth consecutive season, something they have never achieved in the history of the franchise.
